CESC, a fully integrated power utility company, is committed to efficient power generation and distribution while making significant strides in renewables. It serves over 4.7 million+ across 7 locations in India with distribution license in Kolkata, Greater Noida & Chandigarh and distribution franchisee in Kota, Bharatpur, Bikaner and Malegaon.
Total power generation capacity stands at 2,140 MW. It has four thermal plants in West Bengal - Budge Budge (750 MW), Haldia (600MW), Southern (135 MW) & Crescent (40 MW) and one in Maharashtra (600 MW).
CESC aims to set up Hybrid Renewable capacity of 3,200 MW by FY29 through its subsidiary, Purvah Green Power Private Limited.
